15 photo challenges for your Christmas party.Ideas and games the whole team can join.
People take lots of photos at Christmas parties, mostly the same ones: a group shot at the start, a few blurry pictures from the dance floor. Small photo challenges give the evening a programme that runs alongside everything else and mixes departments. They also work for colleagues who prefer to stay behind the camera or who join via the link from somewhere else. Here are 15 ideas in five rounds, to print, to play as a team game or to add straight to your album as moments.

How to use the challenges with bleibt
01
Create the album. Choose a title, date and a festive look such as Fir green or Christmas tree. It takes a few minutes and you can try it for free.
02
Add the rounds as moments. Each of the five rounds below becomes a moment, and you can copy its description as is. Every moment gets its own QR code, so uploads land in the right place.
03
Share the QR codes and the link. The main code goes at the entrance and on the tables, the moment codes wherever the challenge happens. Remote colleagues get the link in the team chat.
The 15 photo challenges
1 point per challenge · 3 points for the jury’s favourite in each round

Moment 1
Arrivals
The first few minutes: who arrives with whom, what the room looks like, what feels festive. Faces welcome, surroundings too.
1.Your team in one picture, before everyone drifts off
2.The room, just before it fills up
3.The most festive detail of the night: a knitted jumper, a bow tie, earrings
02
Moment 2
In the picture together
Group shots with a small twist: across departments, as a human Christmas tree, as a carol without words.
4.A group shot with at least one person from every department
5.A human Christmas tree: lots of people at the bottom, one at the top
6.A short video: your team acts out a Christmas song without words, the others guess
03
Moment 3
No faces needed
For everyone who would rather stay off camera: hands, objects, details. Good pictures of the night don't need a face.
7.Hands raised for a toast – with punch, juice or water
8.The Secret Santa presents before they’re unwrapped
9.Something from your working day, decorated for Christmas
04
Moment 4
Joining from anywhere
For everyone celebrating via the link: from home, another office or on the road. Show us where you are right now.
10.Your spot tonight: desk, sofa or kitchen table
11.A screenshot from the call: everyone holds something festive up to the camera
12.A voice message with greetings for everyone at the party
05
Moment 5
The year in review
What stays from this year? An object, a sentence, one last group shot. The material for your year-in-review.
13.An object that stands for your project of the year
14.A voice message: what was your team moment of the year?
15.The last group shot, with everyone who’s still there
Your QR code goes here
With your bleibt album you can print this sheet with your QR code already on it. Or just stick it on here.
bleibt.app – collect photos and videos by QR code
You can also add the prompts from challenges 12 and 14 as voice prompts in your album, so everyone sees them right before recording.
A team game with scores, no voting app needed
bleibt collects the pictures; the scoring happens the analogue way. Form teams by table or department. Remote colleagues form their own team or join the others. Each team enters its team name in the name field when uploading, so the jury can see later which picture came from whom. Every completed challenge earns one point. At the end, the jury opens the album on the projector, goes through it moment by moment and awards three bonus points per round for its favourite picture. Keep score on a flipchart. Anyone who would rather stay out of the picture can sit on the jury or take on the “No faces needed” round.
Where your QR codes belong
Entrance or cloakroom: the main QR code, at eye level and well lit. Everyone passes here once.
Tables: as a table tent that stands by itself and reads from both sides. Good for “In the picture together”.
Drinks or buffet station: people wait here for a moment – ideal for the “No faces needed” round.
Welcome slide: the code on the projector while someone explains the rules. It’s the one moment everyone looks to the front.
Invitation, calendar invite and team chat: for everyone joining remotely. You can send the link in advance; uploads open on the day of the party.
Print the codes on matte paper; glossy film reflects the room lights. In the QR card designer, pick the matching moment under “Code leads to”, and uploads land straight in the right round.

FAQ
The short answers.
Which games work for a Christmas party with colleagues?
Games where nobody has to stand alone on a stage. Team photo challenges run alongside the party, mix departments and let everyone choose whether to join in front of or behind the camera.
How many challenges make sense?
15 challenges in five rounds are plenty for one evening. Allow about an hour for the game and leave time to look through the album together afterwards.
Does everyone need an app to upload photos?
No. The QR code or link opens the upload straight in the phone’s browser. Nobody who uploads needs an account.
Can colleagues working from home join in?
Yes. Send them the link in the team chat. They upload photos, videos or voice messages from wherever they are, into the same album.
Does bleibt have voting or scoring?
No. bleibt collects photos, videos and voice messages, a bit like a photo booth without the queue. A jury on site does the scoring, for example with the album on the projector.
